The Redundant Human is a freelance copywriter and copy editor.

A graduate in economic history, he trained as a journalist and worked for numerous publications in various roles after starting his career in newspapers at the Enfield Gazette as a junior reporter.

Previous engagements include reporting for the Sunday Mirror, the Independent and Time Out, eight years as a senior sub-editor with the Daily Telegraph in Sydney and six years with Newsquest – at first as a multimedia page editor and then as a regional co-ordinator for the group’s UK subbing hub.

Sporadic articles on this blog may be about anything and everything, although more often than not the subjects of economy, finance and politics are likely to feature.

Redundant Human’s views are his own and subject to change upon consideration of new evidence and events.
